At Kid Kindness we strive to offer opportunities for kids to show gratitude. This Veterans Day Weekend children from across Massachusetts took time out of their day to say “thank you” to the men and women that serve our country.
Children created colorful cards with heartfelt messages and donations were collected for holiday care packages. Two veterans were also in attendance at the event to talk to children about serving in the military.
While young children may not understand the extent of what these men and women sacrifice, giving kids a chance to ask questions helped them gain an understanding and appreciation for all that these brave men and women do.
Our team at Kid Kindness was truly impressed with the kids that took time to salute our troops. With the help of the kind young members of our community and our friends at Helping Our Troops we hope to make the holidays a little brighter for members of the military serving overseas.
Thank you to all that serve … Kid Kindness appreciates you!
